20mm: 20mm (h)
25mm: 25mm (h)
30mm:

35mm:
 35mm (h)
40mm: 40mm (h)

Full Set: one of each of the sizes above. Saves you 20% vs buying each individually.

SIZE: Size is the 'inner' of the cutter & will be the size of the resulting shape cut out (not the internal cut out). All sizes are as accurate as possible but allow for a +/- 0.5mm variance.

Notes on using Imprint-style cutters:

  • Imprint cutters take some learning, we recommend practising on scrap clay first.
  • They are designed for clay 2.5-3mm thick.
  • They work perfectly on clay the thickness of the"0" setting on an Atlas pasta machine.
  • If you are using depth guides, roll down to their depth, then remove guides & roll again to seal clay to your work surface/tile.
  • Ensure cutting edge is pressed down evenly. (Do not press on the "stamping" elements until they're cutting edge is pressed down). Remove from clay by lifting from the more intricate end of the cutter first.
  • The smallest cutters will be the most difficult - roll clay slightly thinner if that helps or alternatively mist the cutter with water then cut (misting bottles)! The water acts as a non-stick agent & can be sprayed direct onto a slab if you want.

ABOUT: Blackbird & Violet Shape Cutters are 3D printed from PLA, a biodegradable plastic.

Their cutting edge is approx. 0.4mm & base is 2-3mm to support an easy cut-out.

CARE: Care instructions can be found here, please read before purchase and/or use.

FINISH: All efforts are taken to reduce any bumps created by the printing process, however sometimes some slip through. These are light & can be easily removed during your sanding process.

COLOUR: Print colour varies & you may receive a different colour to that pictured or a mix of colours.

As a standard, we recommend selecting Express Post* at check out. A lot of craft items such as Polymer Clay, Shape Cutters, Resins etc are heat sensitive.

By selecting Express Post, you can minimise the chance of your items encountering high heat events such as heat waves & delays.

In summer months we recommend avoiding Parcel Lockers for that same reason.

*For Australian customers. International shipping is ONLY Express at this stage due to high delays in the network during the pandemic & to avoid stress on your parcels.
